As we all know, there are four cyclical seasons in nature: Summer, Winter, Spring and Fall. Wasn’t that part of a song years ago? Maybe I am dating myself. It went something like summer, winter, spring or fall, all you have to do is call and I’ll be there. I digress. Forgive me. My point, before my digression, is that we all go through these different seasons or phases of life, whether we want to or not. We have our good times, our bad times, so-so times, and times that are not easily described.
We are taught that no matter where we find ourselves, we should just be content in that state. I always like to tell myself that it could always be worse. What season are you in? Are you experiencing cold days in your life or are you undergoing a new transformation? Life can be so funny sometimes. Things can change in the twinkling of an eye, lives can be transformed before you know it. Regardless of the time or seasons, we should keep our optimism and know that somebody has it much worse than we do and lift our hands and give God thanks for whatever circumstance we find ourselves in. See the glass as half full rather than half empty.

Let’s enjoy life and our various seasons. Remember, it could always be worse.
