Do you ever wonder about the hearts of man or the intents of the heart? What allows people to do wicked deeds? What is in a person’s heart that would allow them to take innocent lives or sexually abuse minors or anyone for that matter? I guess they believe that they will never be caught. I have yet to meet a smart criminal. Does God ever come to their mind? Is He ever in their thoughts? Maybe they think that He is sleeping, but He really is watching.

I woke up this morning to a message saying “Fraud Alert.” Somebody had used one of my credit cards to make a few unauthorized online purchases. How are people able to do these things and sleep peacefully at night? Why steal from others? Go out and get a job like everyone else, and if you need more money, go and get a second job or go back to school. Why do you do these things? Thank God, the fraud was discovered in time before I suffered any harm. He was Watching.

Proverbs 20:17 states that “food gained by fraud tastes sweet, but one ends up with a mouth full of gravel.”

It never pays in the end to steal. Have you not learned that it is more blessed to give than to receive? Fraud alert to all the potential criminals and criminals to be. He is Watching.

Why go that route? He is calling your name. He is ready to change your life for the better. Reach out to Him and He will reach out to you. He can turn that life around, but He gives us free will. You have to invite Him in. And then— He will make all things new.

Yes, take His hand. Not only is He watching, but He is also waiting.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother and caretaker, and I also work outside of the home. Life has its struggles but I am not complaining. It could always be worse. Many lessons learned on my journey and many more to come--I am sure. God has a sense of humor and I have certainly learned how to laugh at myself. You should too-it is quite therapeutic. After all, some things we cannot change so why not enjoy a good laugh at our own expense. See you soon.
