Good day all,
Recently, one of my sisters told me that she liked the fact that I was unafraid to try new things. I must confess that I don’t really think about the new thing that I am about to try, God drops something into my spirit and off we go. Like the book that I recently wrote, “Karma Will Clap Back.” It took years to come into fruition. It did not just appear overnight, it was years in the making. I was given the framework, I was given the words, and glory be to God, people are already testifying and the rest shall I say, is in God’s hands.
Life can be like that at times. You pour your heart into something and it takes a long time before you see the results. My Pastor preached last night about little by little, your prayers will be answered. Little by little is not how we want those prayers to be answered. We mutter quietly telling ourselves that God is a big God, so why can’t He just wave his hands and grant me that request right NOW. Yes, in today’s society, we want answers instantly, after all, we are the microwave generation. If it is taking too long, we just don’t have the time nor the patience to persevere.
Sometimes when we get tired of waiting, we take matters into our own hands and there goes an unsavory recipe for perfect chaos.
Bible teaches us to “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Waiting is never fun.

Lord, help us to wait on you.

For your timing is always perfect.
