Glorious Church Day!

What a Glorious Church Day! I get to go to church today. How awesome is that! You see, during the pandemic, the church doors were closed. Finally, on one glorious day, they partially opened up their doors. However, I had been unable to attend due to my caregiving duties. My father is 79 years old and I rarely take him outside due to Mr. Corona or is it Miss or Mrs. Corona. So, my caregiving duties on a Sunday have preventing me from attending Sunday service.

My daughter is currently on vacation so I am able to go today. I am so overjoyed. Nothing like walking into the house of the Lord and being in the presence of other believers. One great thing is that you get to leave all of your burdens right there in God’s house and walk back out renewed, refreshed and reinvigorated. Oooh, I am so excited.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother and caretaker, and I also work outside of the home. Life has its struggles but I am not complaining. It could always be worse. Many lessons learned on my journey and many more to come--I am sure. God has a sense of humor and I have certainly learned how to laugh at myself. You should too-it is quite therapeutic. After all, some things we cannot change so why not enjoy a good laugh at our own expense. See you soon.
