Poetic Moment (2)

                Time
So much time spent thinking
Much time spent chasing
So much time wasted
If only we knew the beginning
And recognized the ending
Maybe then
Time would be our friend.

Today, I have so much to do and I wish time was on my side. I wish we were friends. Time is not waiting for me today. Friends wait for one another, friends love one another, so I wonder what I can do to get Time to love me back. Time, please wait for me or just add a few more minutes onto the clock. Please, I beg you.

Time, what do you say? Can we be friends?

I am a wife, mother, grandmother and caretaker, and I also work outside of the home. Life has its struggles but I am not complaining. It could always be worse. Many lessons learned on my journey and many more to come--I am sure. God has a sense of humor and I have certainly learned how to laugh at myself. You should too-it is quite therapeutic. After all, some things we cannot change so why not enjoy a good laugh at our own expense. See you soon.
